  [SarahWebb.FTW] NUMB: 1173 There is a story about Gilbert that says he was court martialed dur ing the Civil War and shot. After the war Elizabeth moved back to the Cumberl and Valley and lived in a log cabin up the hollow from Old Mose Maggards place . She is buried in the Maggard Cemetery.
