James Caudle [408] was born abt. 1753 the son of James Caudill[614] and Mary Yarborough [183].  Given his birth year of about 1753, it’s reasonable to accept that James was born in Lunenburg County when presented with evidence that his father and grandfather appear in the list of tithes in the year 1751.

James Caudill, Sr. [614] and Mary Yarborough [183] were wed on Sunday, January 1, 1749, in Lunenburg County, VA.  All the evidence to support this fact is anecdotal, yet I have no cause to refute it.

Mary Yarborough is thought to be the daughter of Ambrose Yarborough [11933] and his wife Mary Mason [12842].
