James Caudle [408] was born abt. 1753 the son of James Caudill[614] and Mary Yarborough [183]. Given his birth year of about 1753, it’s reasonable to accept that James was born in Lunenburg County when presented with evidence that his father and grandfather appear in the list of tithes in the year 1751.
Married: Mary Adams [188]

James Caudill, Sr. [614] and Mary Yarborough [183] were wed on Sunday, January 1, 1749, in Lunenburg County, VA. All the evidence to support this fact is anecdotal, yet I have no cause to refute it.
Mary Yarborough is thought to be the daughter of Ambrose Yarborough [11933] and his wife Mary Mason [12842].

James Codle, 1 poll, (himself).(1)It’s well established through his pension application that James Caudill Jr. [408] was born in 1753. In 1765, he was twelve years of age. This James Caudill is almost certainly his father, James Caudill, Sr. [614]

Comments:
- Buckner is enumerated near several members of the Crow family. David Caudell [13066] born abt. 1821, son of Benjamin Caudell [13083] born abt. 1788, married Sarah Crow daughter of William Crow. Is there too much coincidence?
